Motive Partners awarded Value Creation Deal of the year: Large Deal Category by Actum Group

March 2026

We're proud to share that Motive Partners has been awarded Value Creation Deal of the year: Large Deal Category by Actum Group!

Recognizing Motive for our successful strategic exit of With Intelligence to S&P Global for $1.8 billion, this award is a reflection of Motive’s proven and repeatable Investor-Operator-Innovator (IOI) model in action and the result of our value creation plan to transform the business into one of the last independent, scaled providers of alternative asset data.

Through deep partnership with management, Motive accelerated the company’s evolution, expanding data coverage, embedding AI and automation, executing strategic acquisitions, and sharpening go-to-market execution. The results were decisive: significant expansion of proprietary datasets across investors, managers, funds, and deals. In roughly half the typical timeframe, Motive transformed With Intelligence from a legacy B2B media and information provider into a scaled, technology-enabled data and analytics platform – while positioning it for a strategic exit. At a time when market dynamics are shifting, investor expectations are evolving, and rapid technological change are redefining financial services, true value creation requires moving beyond incremental improvement toward building differentiated, data-driven platforms with clear strategic relevance.

Thank you to our investors for their continued support, and to the entire Motive Partners team and ecosystem, including our colleagues at Oliver Wyman, for your partnership and commitment to driving meaningful value creation.

We are proud to share this distinction with the teams at With Intelligence and S&P Global – congratulations on creating of one of the most comprehensive providers of private markets intelligence in the world!

At Motive Partners, we believe that financial technology is a horizontal industry that cuts through every segment of the world economy, underlining a significant opportunity to innovate those systems as they enter the digital age. We invest in companies transforming the future of finance.
