Zade Zalatimo joined Motive Partners in 2025 and is an Industry Partner.

At Motive, Zade leads strategic initiatives in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, focusing on investor relations, engaging with regional investors, and identifying new investment opportunities. In addition to his role at Motive as an Industry Partner, Zade is a Regional Partner at Declaration Partners LP and BayPine, both stemming from his nearly two-decade relationship with David Rubenstein.

Previously, he was the Head of Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia at The Carlyle Group, where he played a pivotal role in cultivating new LP relationships with family offices, endowments, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds. Earlier in his career, Zade was a Partner and CEO of Investcorp’s Saudi Arabia licensed business unit. In this capacity, he spearheaded placement and relationship management with institutional clients across the Gulf region.

Zade holds a B.A. from The University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
