Xin Shao joined Motive Partners in 2024 and is a Vice President in the Finance team, supporting the Motive Ventures platform.

At Motive, Xin supports fund reporting, accounting and portfolio management functions for Motive Ventures.

Prior to joining Motive, Xin held senior positions at Berlin-based venture capital firms, Planet A Ventures and Redstone Digital among others. In these roles she was responsible for financial functions across the company as well as investor relations and portfolio management topics. Xin began her career in the audit division of a large accounting firm based in southern China.

Xin holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from Bangor Business School and graduated from London South Bank University with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance.
