Miguel Tejeda joined Motive Partners in 2018 and is a Principal on the Growth & Buyout Investment team.

At Motive, Miguel is responsible for identifying and developing investment themes and opportunities across the firm’s core focus areas. He currently serves as a Board Observer at InvestCloud, BetaNXT, CAIS and Alchelyst, where he partners closely with management teams on strategy, growth initiatives, and long-term value creation.

Miguel has also played an active role in several of Motive’s flagship transactions and platform investments, including Global Shares, Finantix, Tegra118 and Wilshire. Throughout his tenure at Motive, he has been involved across the full investment lifecycle, from thematic sourcing and diligence through execution and ongoing portfolio support.

Prior to joining Motive, Miguel was an Associate at Park Square Capital, amulti-strategy credit fund, where he evaluated credit and preferred equity investments across a broad range of industries, including tech-enabled service sand software. He began his career in the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman Sachs, advising financial technology and asset management clients on M&A transactions, including Visa’s acquisition of Visa Europe and TSYS’s acquisition of TransFirst. Since 2016, Miguel has also served on the Associate Board of the George Jackson Academy, a New York-based middle school dedicated to students from underserved communities.

Miguel earned an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.
