Oded Cedar joined Motive Partners in 2025 and is Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director, Legal and Compliance based out of the New York office.

Prior to joining Motive, Oded was the Chief Compliance Officer and Counsel for Fifth Wall Ventures. Before Fifth Wall, he was a Chief Compliance Officer for SBLA Advisors, a division of SoftBank.

Oded started his legal career at Seward and Kissel LLP and later worked as a Fund Formation Attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Oded received his JD from American University, Washington College of Law, and also received a LLM in Venture Capital Finance from Duke University Law School.
