Miguel Tejeda joined Motive Partners in 2018 and is a Principal on the Motive Investment Team based out of the New York office. At Motive, Miguel is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing investments as it relates to technology companies that enable the financial economy. Prior to the acquisition of InvestCloud, Miguel served as a board observer at Tegra118.

Prior to joining Motive, Miguel was an associate at Park Square Capital, a multi-strategy credit fund, where he was involved in a number of successful investments across the capital structure. He led diligence for several credit and preferred equity investments in the software and financial technology space.

Miguel began his career at Goldman Sachs, within the Financial Institutions Group, where he focused on M&A advisory for financial technology and asset management clients. While at Goldman, he worked on a variety of transactions within the financial technology space, including Visa’s acquisition of Visa Europe and TSYS’s acquisition of TransFirst.

Miguel earned an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.
