Ike Ogbutor joined Motive Partners in 2025 and is a Senior Associate on the Finance, Compliance, and Operations Team based out of the New York office.

Prior to joining Motive, Ike was a Senior Accounting Consultant for Tenfore Holdings, where his responsibilities included quarterly NAV review, supporting the year-end audit process, preparing investor reporting and conducting ad hoc financial analysis to assist senior management decision-making at the management company level.

Previously, Ike was a Senior Finance Associate at Sycamore Partners, where he supported finance and operations functions related to the firm’s leveraged buyout strategy. His responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations of the funds, general partner, management company and co-investment vehicles as well as assisting with investor reporting and selected compliance-related activities.

Ike began his career in the Financial Services Assurance practice at RSM focusing on audits and quarterly reviews of alternative asset management clients; including, hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital funds, fund of funds, and Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs).

He holds an M.S. in Accounting and a B.A. in Political Science from the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY).
