Harsh Govil joined Motive Partners in 2023 and is a Partner on the Ventures Investment Team based out of the New York office. At Motive, Harsh focuses on opportunities in the payments, AI and vertical applications domains, leading deal execution to portfolio management. Harsh holds board roles in Zocks, Alphastream, Korr, Hero, and Nelly in the Motive Ventures portfolio.

Priorto joining Motive, Harsh was a Founding Member of Embedded/Capital, a Berlin based early-stage financial technology investment firm, which was acquired by Motive Partners in February 2023, to form the early-stage arm of the Motive Partners platform. Prior to Embedded/Capital, Harsh was a Principal at FinLeap, actively involved in managing the portfolio, including fundraising, M&A and board advisory.

Harsh started his career in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley, focusing on M&A and leveraged finance transactions. He worked across sectors in the M&A Department, including financial technology.

Harsh holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MA in Public Policy from Stanford University, as well as a BA in Economics with Distinction from Stanford University.
