Erik Jan Schutte joined Motive Partners in 2026 and is a Director in the Business Transformation team.
Prior to joining Motive, Erik was the Founder of Elgin White and scaled the asset and wealth management consultancy into a sizable team. In this role, he led global client engagements, delivering complex transformation programmes across platform implementations, data architecture, operating model design, and post-merger integration.
Before founding Elgin White, Erik was a Senior Director at PwC, where he played a key role in building and expanding the UK Asset and Wealth Management advisory and technology consulting practice. Earlier, he served as a Managing Director at Accenture, where he played a key role in expanding the firm’s Asset and Wealth Management business globally from the UK, contributing to team expansion and client delivery initiatives.
Erik has also held Director roles at Alpha Financial Markets Consulting and SimCorp, where he led large-scale investment platform implementations and helped build consulting capabilities across Europe, working with leading institutional clients. He began his career in the Netherlands at KPMG before moving into investment management technology and consulting roles at DST International, where he supported global clients and contributed to the development of offshore delivery capabilities.
