Emma Stevens-Smith joined Motive Partners in 2023 and is Principal on the Create team.

At Motive, Emma supports the development and growth of early-stage incubations, building and investing in next generation technology platforms to transform alternatives and wealth. In her role, she analyzes market trends to shape growth strategies, aligns venture objectives, and monitors portfolio performance.  

Emma is an incubation partner and brand strategist with a background in driving innovation for both early-stage companies and global corporations. Prior to joining Motive, she founded a consumer company and advised global corporations on building in-house programs to launch new businesses. Previously, Emma worked at The Female Quotient, where she worked with organizations, such as Unilever and Mattel, on advancing workplace diversity and engaging female consumers.  

Emma holds an MBA from MIT and a BS in Biochemistry and Studio Art from Bates College.
