Antonio D’aria joined Motive Partners in January 2022 and is a Software Engineer on the Create team.

At Motive, Antonio designs and develops robust backend systems, scalable APIs, and cloud-based solutions in Golang and Python, leveraging AWS to build secure, scalable, event-driven architectures.  

Prior to joining Motive, Antonio worked at IBM as part of the London Garage, an innovation hub helping clients transform ideas from concept into fully functional applications. In this role, Antonio contributed to end-to-end development across mobile and desktop platforms, including applications for both Android and iOS operating systems, collaborating closely with clients to deliver impactful, user-focused solutions.

Antonio began his career at Ubiquity Press as a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer, where he worked on a research repository pilot for the British Library and four UK cultural and heritage institutions. The project used the Samvera Hyku open-source platform, a complex Ruby on Rails application with multiple service layers, deployed using modern container technologies.

Antonio holds a BA from the University of Greenwich, London.
