Corey Rainbow joined Motive in 2019 and is an Industry Principal.

In parallel to his role at Motive, Corey serves as Vice President of Private Markets Strategy & Partnerships at InvestCloud, where he works on the development and scale of the firm’s Private Markets Account network, shaping product and network strategy, forming commercial partnerships and collaborating with industry participants to expand adoption. His focus is on creating a scalable industry solution that improves efficiency and accessibility for private markets investments within wealth management and supporting the broader democratization of alternative assets.

Prior to joining InvestCloud, Corey led the Value Creation and Due Diligence teams within Motive Create, supporting Motive’s investment teams and portfolio companies across product, technology and operational due diligence, value-creation planning and execution.

Before joining Motive, Corey spent nearly a decade in financial-services consulting, advising banks, wealth and asset managers on technology strategy, target-operating-model design, outsourcing and large-scale transformation programmes.

Corey earned a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Finance from the University of Birmingham.
