Steward

Steward is an AI-powered AML compliance platform built for investment services. The platform automates the onboarding and monitoring of complex investors including funds, trusts, family offices and offshore vehicles. While individual KYC has seen meaningful automation, corporate and structured investor onboarding remains stubbornly manual, with up to 70% of KYB work still requiring human review. Steward addresses this by combining end-to-end AMLworkflows with AI-powered analysis of complex ownership structures across hundreds of data sources. The platform uses risk-based, no-code workflows and proprietary risk models tailored to each customer's compliance strategy, intelligently escalating cases for human approval when required. Over time, Steward is building a "Steward Profile" database that allows investors to be onboarded once and securely reused across institutions,transforming a repetitive manual process into a seamless, scalable experience. Early customers include investment firms such as Outward, with additional institutions in the pipeline.
