Worth Newman joined Motive Partners in 2018 and is a Principal on the Motive Investment Team based out of the London office. At Motive, Worth is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing investments as it relates to technology companies that enable the financial economy.

Prior to joining Motive, Worth was an associate on the Investment Team at Lightyear Capital. During his tenure at Lightyear, Worth sourced the opportunity to invest in Datalot, a leading provider of insurance digital distribution solutions and oversaw the investment as part of the deal team. He also monitored Lightyear's investment in Ed (formerly Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford), including the sale of Swett & Crawford to BB&T.

Worth started his career at the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse in the Financial Institutions Group, primarily covering financial institutions across Latin America. While at Credit Suisse, he worked on a variety of transactions including the Initial Public Offering of Intercorp Financial Services, acquisition of CorpBanca by Itaú and the inaugural international debt issuance by Banco Inbursa.

Worth earned a B.S. in Economics with a Concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania graduating Magna Cum Laude.
