Stephen Gonella joined Motive Partners in 2022 and is a Fund Analyst on the Finance and Operations Team based out of the New York office. At Motive, Stephen is responsible for various duties relating to finance, operations and investor relations matters pertaining to the Motive private equity and venture capital funds.

Prior to joining Motive, Stephen was an Associate at KPMG LLP in the firm’s Risk Advisory practice. During his time there, Stephen’s focus was primarily on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) engagements for clients in the Financial Service and Asset Management fields. He provided services related to the implementation and review of client controls and procedures across numerous business processes.

Stephen earned a B.S. in Accounting and a Minor in Information Systems Management from Penn State University – Smeal College of Business.
