JC Colangelo joined Motive Partners in 2022 and is an Associate on the Investment Team based out of the New York office. At Motive, JC is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing investments as it relates to technology companies that enable the financial economy.

Prior to joining Motive, JC was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at J.P. Morgan. During this time, JC worked in the Technology Group, advising financial technology and software companies on strategic and capital market activities. He worked on a variety of transactions including AspenTech and Emerson Electric’s strategic combination, Turn/River’s acquisition of Tufin, and DLocal’s initial secondary equity offering.

JC earned an A.B. in Economics with a minor in Finance from Princeton University graduating Cum Laude.
